MY STORY

 

Hi, my name is Katy. Weddings are my forte, weddings are my thing. I can't explain how much I LOVE my job!  

 

I'm completely dedicated to providing the very best wedding film of your day. I love natural footage. The best wedding films are those when couples feel comfortable and are being themselves. I pride myself on being non intrusive which allows me to document the day as is happens. 

 

I'm happy, friendly and very sociable and nothing is too much trouble on your wedding day, whether its helping with the dress or pinning flowers onto suits. You name it and I can help.

I'm based in Cardiff, South Wales but cover West Wales, Swansea, The Gower, Bristol, South West, Somerset, The Cotswolds and Gloucestershire.

1. I love Tea! Green, Peppermint or Black with no milk (Yes I’m one of those weird people) ☕️

2. My favourite place is the beach 🏖 🌊

3. I love to ski ⛷

4. I hate exercise 🏃‍♀️ 

5. I hate Marmite but I love Bovril

6. I’m a three courses type of girl 🍽

7. Christmas is my favourite time of the year (other than wedding season obviously!) 🎄

8. I love reading and watching boxsets 📚🎬

9. Music has changed my life 🎤 🎧 🎼

10. I’m attempting to become a 'kind of' minimalist

11. I’m an animal person in particular dogs 🐶

12. I feel extremely grateful to do a job that I love 📷

13. My cocktail is a Mojito 🍹

14. I love rugby (I am a Welsh girl) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

15. I wish I'd travelled more in my 20's ✈️

16. I love colour which is demonstrated in my wedding films and on the walls of my house 😀

17. I love to chat and I’m a people person hence my job in Human Resources before becoming a wedding videographer 🤝

18. I have a degree and a masters but absolutely nothing to do with filming weddings 👩🏼‍🎓

19. I can’t sing or dance but as my husband says “I’m a trier” 💃🏼 

20. I'm a Mummy to three gorgeous little rascals who well and truly keep me on my toes.
